Today’s Reading: Exodus 4, Luke 7; Job 21, I Corinthians 8
Yesterday, we learned that God sees, hears, and knows his people. Today, we learn how to respond to being seen, heard, and known.
And the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the people of Israel, and that he had seen her affliction, they bowed their heads and worshipped. Exodus 4:31
Since Christ has visited us, put on flesh, and endured us, how much more should we now bow our heads to his authority and worship his majesty? What we endure, he overcame. What we struggle with, he mastered. What we fear, he conquered. What we owe, he paid in full. Remember, “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.”
